Fractions (simple equivalences)
Fractotron Fractions appear on the screen, decide whether they are more than a half, less than a half or equal to a half.
Equivalent Fraction Activities Comparing fractions using bar charts, and pie charts.
Fraction Monkeys Use the lowest common denominator of fractions to place the monkeys in the correct position on the number line. Easy level uses easier fractions. Difficult level uses more challenging fractions (level D).
Melvin's Make a Match Match Melvin’s potions using equivalent fractions. Becomes progressively harder as one round is completed.
Fractions A variety of fraction activities, Levels 2-4 suitable for Level C. ( Level 1 suitable for Level B, Level 5 suitable for Level D)

Make and shade fractions
Visualising Fractions Divide the shapes into the number shown and then shade in the correct fraction. [T]

Name the fractions
Making Fractions Opposite to the above activity. A shaded shape is given and the correct fraction must be entered. [T]

Fractions demonstration
T Fractions A useful teaching demonstration tool. Deals with what is a fraction followed by a fraction practice. Then a demonstration on equivalent fractions. Also deals with more challenging level D concepts – reducing fractions, improper and mixed numbers, multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers and adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers.
