BPT Discussion Forum
Click here  to join the Borders Primary Teachers mailing list / discussion forum - just send off the email, asking to be subscribed.

What is it?
A mailing list is a discussion forum. The agenda is entirely set by members, who post queries, tips, discussion points, advice or whatever interests them. All messages posted are sent to every member. You can respond to these or not, as you wish.
The Borders Primary Teachers Mailing List is an inter-school, inter-teacher communication network, sharing problems, knowledge, ideas, resources and skills across the Borders area.

How does it work?
Subscribing:  To become a member you must subscribe. Schools or individuals can subscribe

Digest:  The welcome message you receive on subscribing tells you how to receive the messages in digest form, if you wish. This packages the postings daily. You can scan the list of subject matters included before reading further.

Unsubscribing:  Every message carries details of how to unsubscribe.

Archive: Every message carries details of how to access the archive.

Rules:
Only post messages that you want every member of the mailing list to read. Don’t use the list for messages to individuals.

No personal attacks, offensive or defamatory remarks and no (very) bad language.

Don’t clutter up the list with lengthy documents, attachments, graphics, etc. If you have something like that to share, post details and ask individuals to get in touch if interested.

Ensure that your subject line is relevant and accurate. This helps members who are receiving the list in digest form.
